Privacy Policy

This page explains which data Unfollowed uses and why. We collect only what is needed to make the service work.
Data we use
Your GitHub name, username, email and the list of accounts you follow and who follow you. Your sign-in is handled by our identity server (Keycloak), which keeps your basic profile and your GitHub authorization.
Your GitHub access token
The token is used only to call the GitHub API for you. It stays in your session and is encrypted when handed to background jobs. It is never shown or shared.
Follower lists
Lists are kept in a temporary cache for a short time to speed up the page and avoid GitHub rate limits, and then discarded.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and remember your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. It is only exchanged with GitHub, which you already use, to perform the actions you request.
Your control
Sign out at any time to end the session. You can revoke the app in your GitHub settings under Applications, and ask us to delete your account data by emailing xitamailer@gmail.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
